DESCRIPTION:Heart-brain interactions in perseverative cognition: From experimental studies to clinical interventions\nIn my seminar\, I will review a series of studies conducted in different settings (laboratory\, fMRI\, daily life)\, populations (healthy\, major depression\, generalized anxiety)\, location (United States\, Europe)\, and age groups (children\, adults) that consistently replicated the existence of a nexus between cognitive and autonomic inflexibility when examining the mind wandering – perseverative cognition continuum.
